Celebrate a special occasion, or a gathering of friends, with exceptional food cooked by Hawarden Estate chef. Feast in your holiday property, or have a truly special lunch at the lake. We will work with you to craft a bespoke menu before your stay. On the day, we will decorate your table, set up and serve, then leave you to enjoy your evening. 

For many years we’ve hosted events featuring some of the finest chefs in Britain (in one year alone we worked with 5 of the Sunday Times’ Top 10 food book authors).     Pan roasted Pembrokeshire scallops

    Cauliflower puree, confit chicken wing, mushroom & sultana dressing

    Roast Wild Duck with an onion and thyme tart, red cabbage, sage and damsons

    A lunch quite like no other at our private nature reserve. Our Estate Head Chef will design a menu to suit your occasion.

    Houmous, green olive tapenade, Two Fields Olive oil, balsamic and cultured butter
    Perello Gordal olives

    Main course
    Grilled gilthead Sea bream stuffed with lemon and herbs
    Shoulder of Welsh lamb cooked over the coals
    Oyster mushroom shawarma with grilled onions and sprouts
    Bulgur wheat tabbouleh with grilled leeks and tahini dressing
    Beetroots baked in the coals with hazelnuts and dill
    Spring greens with shallots, olives, almonds, Graceburn cheese and a citrus and chilli oil
    New season potatoes a la Plancha, green onions and herbs
    Green sauce, roasted garlic and lemon yoghurt, fermented chilli sauce
